Square numbers, a Poster

teaching resource for square numbersThis maths poster lists the first 25 square numbers.

Like the Prime Numbers poster I added to this site last month, this is a vertical (skyscraper) format, measuring 21cm by 60cm.

square numbers posterThe poster offers a short definition and a number of thought prompts, and works well as an information point but can also be used as a direct teaching aid.

The pdf download* is spread across two A4 pages without overlap. When printing pdf files some printers will default to print within the printable area of the page. This can mean that pdf files are scaled down to fit the page. In order to print the poster full size you may need to choose ‘page setup’ and select the appropriate page scaling options: ‘None’ or ‘100%’ (depending on the printer you are using).

Thank you, this clear but

Thank you, this clear but eye-catching posters will be a great addition to my class. My pupils with sen really benefit from the clear font. Any chance you could make a version where the back-ground is slightly off-white for my chn with dyslexia? Having a print file with a coloured background is so much less hassle than finding and loading the printer with coloured paper. Many thanks again.

Good to hear this is working

Good to hear this is working out for you. A number of people have emailed to say they like the vertical format... and asked for more! I'll try to get onto that asap.
