 These are just what I've

These are just what I've been looking for! Saves a lot of time making my own in Word or similar. Will be using these with a Place Value Ladder Game. Thank you!

I plan to use them to replace

I plan to use them to replace some missing number cards in my classroom hundred square (which has plastic pockets for each number).  After a while the cards tend to fall out and get lost so these will be handy to produce replacements quickly.  They will also be good for discussing number patterns. I like the font used in terms of the 4 digits (but do wish the 6 and 9 digits were less similar; children tend to get confused when the card is upside down).  Could we have a similar set with the colours reversed? We could then stick them back-to-back so that they can be turned over to signify other number patterns, not just odd and even numbers.

Thanks, that's a useful idea.

Thanks, that's a useful idea. We can certainly work on alternating the colours the 'other way'... if that makes sense. I also agree about the 6 and 9 issue. The font we use is very clsoe to primary school font, and particdulalry good for most maths applications. But you are correct, the 9 would be easier to distinguish if it had a straighter back. Unfortunately (so far) no font produces this effect well enough for our purposes.

Thanks for the feedback.

These digit cards are going

These digit cards are going to one of my math work stations tomorrow!  I have a clothesline and will let the children explore skip counting!  I can't wait to watch as they discover the patterns with the odd/even numbers!  Especially since the even numbers are red!  It will make it easy to see a pattern develop!

First, love the

First, love the graphics..cute and student friendly...was looking for resources to help my 1st grade teacher who was just given math...she is doing odd and even and I found mathsticks. Love the gameboard...will take it and tweak it by giving the kids random number cards from 1 to 99. They will draw a card and determine if the number is odd/even, then they will play the game as indicated. Provides double practice! :)

An excellent resource ,

An excellent resource , especially because it is difficult to find cards with this number 4 formation. Also useful for odds/evens pattern recognition. I intend using the cards for doubles work to help the children to see that doubles are even numbers (year 1).
