0-9 Character Digit Cards

Digit cards are not hard to find. It could even be argued that the best ones are those that are made by the children themselves. However, since Digit Cards are used so often in the activities here, it seemed unreasonable not to have a mathsticks set.

So, here is a simple set of 0-9 Digit Cards, the font is appropriate for younger children, and I have added a little mathstick touch!

Download, print, laminate and cut out. Each card is 6cm x 10cm, presented on A4 as a single pdf file.

Other Digit Cards are available here.

I'll be using sets of these

I'll be using sets of these digit cards with the "Add up" game. We're learning to PUT THE LARGEST NUMBER FIRST & this game looks like a much better way of putting this into practise than only doing a worksheet. Thanks, Mathsticks!

I already have 0 - 10 digit

I already have 0 - 10 digit cards in class but they are plain and more suitable for key stage 2 . The P3' s will love these with the little charcters and they can be used as the basis for other games . eg shuffle cards draw out 2 cards and place on a board labelled Tens and units rearrange cards to make a 2 digit number . Whoever can make the larger number each time gets 1 point or alternatively make the smaller number.

2 digit generator

Have just made this resource up and played a game using it with my daughter much easier than picking numbers from a pot.
