The Mathsticks Resource site has been growing rapidly, both in number of resources we list and in the quantity of visitors the site continually attracts (we had over 1,000 visitors on Christmas day!).
However, the site never had a dedicated blog – we just posted ‘News Items’ as and when they appeared. This was fine when we started (with only 23 members), but now it is impractical and confusing… so, here is our shiny, new dedicated blog space.
What will we do with it?
Well, apart form being the official space for all our Mathsticks news, we can also add other things here that wouldn’t fit within the main resource list: teaching ideas, competitions and news from other maths sites and blogs. It also means that we can take this blog mobile. You probably wouldn’t want to look for or download resources on a mobile phone, but news, tips and ideas are different.

- from the Mathsticks Resource section: use the ’Blog’ link at the left-hand end of the main navigation bar
- on a mobile phone or pad: use the direct address or scan the QR code below. You only need to do this once, then bookmark the website or give it an App button.
